I make cedar bagel boards and bagel making kits by hand in my Colorado Springs workshop.

A bagel board is a burlap-covered cedar plank that bagels bake on. It's how New York bagel shops get a crisp crust and a chewy middle, and it works in a home oven.

I moved here from New York and couldn't find a bagel that measured up, so I started baking my own. The boards I could buy were flimsy, so I built better ones.

The Bagel Making Kit is my most popular item and an easy gift for anyone who loves to bake or misses a real bagel. It has the boards, dough mix, everything seasoning, tools, and a recipe card. Gluten-free kits are available too.
